Accessibility Statement
Our aim
We aim to make this website and the TrialCurrent application usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
We have not yet met that target everywhere. This page says what we checked, what we fixed and what we know still needs work.
How we checked
We last reviewed the website and the application in October 2026:
- Automated testing. We ran axe-core and Lighthouse on every page of this website and on the application's main screens: sign in, forgotten password, the Overview, the Pipeline, an opportunity, a study, Discover and personal settings.
- Keyboard testing. An automated keyboard-only check signs in, opens the Pipeline and a record, edits and saves a field, and signs out using only the keyboard, and confirms that the item in focus is clearly outlined at every step.
- Screen reader testing. We have not yet tested with a screen reader. We plan to test with VoiceOver and NVDA, and with a person using only the keyboard, before our next review.
Every change to the application is now checked automatically for the most serious accessibility problems before it can be released.
What we fixed in this review
- Text that was too faint against its background, in the application and on this website.
- Form fields that a screen reader could not name, including the sign-in fields and the fields on a deal's page.
- Sign-in errors are now announced to screen readers.
- Controls that could only be used with a mouse now work with the keyboard.
- Each page has its own title, and a "Skip to main content" link is the first thing the keyboard reaches.
- Animations are switched off for people who ask their device to reduce motion.
What we know still needs work
- Moving deals on the Pipeline board. Dragging a deal between columns needs a mouse. You can make the same change with the keyboard from the deal's own page.
- Screens we have not tested yet. Administration pages, the report builder and some less-used screens have not been through this review. Some scrolling areas there may not be reachable with the keyboard.
- Documents the application creates. Proposals, meeting briefs and other PDFs are not yet tagged for screen readers.
- Documents you upload. Files that you or your sponsors upload are shown as they are; we cannot make them accessible.

Next review
We will review this statement and test again by April 2027, and sooner if we make large changes.
